We were so plesantly surprised with villa 17. The pictures don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated and a perfect open concept. Everything was clean and plenty of blankets and pillows. Massive TV for those rainy days. Washer and dryer was a huge plus for towels and swimsuits! Also the beach toys and things that are available in the storage/garage were helpful! Beach is beautiful and in perfect location

My family and I love the Island House. We always stay in one of the villas and it never disappoints. Our unit was the perfect size for our family, was very clean and just steps to the beach. All of the villas have their own style but almost all come with a lanai which is key to enjoy the outdoors. There is a community grill and of course the best sunsets you’ll ever see.

Fantastic Siesta Key Location : Middle of beach ... far enough away from Public Access and crowds. 5 minute walk to the water.

Booking/Check-In/Check-Out was extremely easy ... Love the phone app.

Price point was fair. Rental unit is obviously utilized. No major defects ... no working ice maker. Kitchen was well equipped.

Very strong pesticide smell upon arrival. Thought it would subside within 24 hours but did not. We cleaned up several dead bugs ... also had kitchen issues with small ants.

We arrived directly after Hurricane Ian when power was being restored to the area, so we were understanding that everything couldn't be perfect. We raised no issues with management as relocating to another unit would not have been acceptable.

We enjoyed the week in Siesta Key.

While the actual villa isn't on the beach (no views either) it is just a short walk to it. Love that the beach feels private as it is only for those staying there. Far enough away from the public beach that you can see it from there but enough room even if you don't wake up at the crack of dawn to get a spot. Villa had everything you need to cook and clean up anything needed. Ours was really nice and open great for taco bar with friends. It would have been nice to have dish soap or liquid soap for the kitchen provided, but other than that all was great. Check in and check out was a breeze and was a great time had by all. If I ever come back I hope that I can get the same villa again.

The villa is very clean and modern with a light, bright beach decor. As is typical for renting within a complex, plan on buying / bringing your own dish soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. Also read the fine print; there are no beach towels and limited beach items within the unit. We spent a lot of time on the screened porch in the comfortable outdoor furniture complete with ceiling fan for a light breeze. Easy walk to the beach. The pool was warm which made it usable on the cool days/nights. The complex itself is very quiet. The rec room and outdoor shuffle board is showing wear, but to be expected in a large complex. Location is great.

We have visited Island House Beach Resort for many years and they never fail to provide a superb beach experience. While it has "Resort" in it's name, it feels as though you are in your own home. Whether it is an apartment or a villa, the accommodations are clean, neat and up to date. I happened to run into the owner of the villa we were staying in this last trip and as we were talking his concern was how was our stay and if a particular feature installed in the villa was working properly. When there has been a issue with anything, maintenance immediately arrived to correct that issue. That is the kind of care given at Island House. The private beach and closeness to the beach from the apartments and villas can't be beat.
While my bride and I have talked about "trying" other places on Siesta Key, we both feel that we would rather continue to stay at the Island House that risk having a "not so wonderful stay" at another location.
Our children grew up vacationing there and now are taking their own families to vacation at the Island House Beach Resort. You won't be disappointed.

We stay here every year. We love the property and the staff. The beds are the only problem. There is no supportleft in the Master bedrooms king size bed. I had to sleep the last couple of nights on the couch due to this...That is the only thing that I could complain about.
