This beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo features a spacious primary ensuite with a king-size bed, a guest bedroom offering two twin beds as well as a sofa bed in the living area.   This is our third time staying in this unit and an awesome experience as usual. There are a few things that could use updating and repair but overall very happy with this unit, it furnishing, dishes etc and would book again in the future. We were disappointed to see several dogs on the property and the lack of enforcement of the no pets policy only because one family member is highly allergic and if there had been pets in here before us we would have had major issues.

  The view is beautiful. The complex is doing a great job with the grounds after the hurricanes. Our unit has a very noisy air conditioner is. Perhaps needs to be replaced? And housekeeping needs to clean the floors better. We enjoyed our stay there because the beach is fabulous!!

  Island House resort is our favorite vacation destination. Planning on a 2 week stay next year. Unit 12N is very comfortable. The only improvement needed is a new mattress in the master bedroom.

  12N is one of our favorite units at The Island House. We love how the unit has been kept up over the years. The furnishings and decor are perfect. The only complaint we have is that housekeeping needs to clean the floors better before guests arrive. The floors were well swept, but needed to be washed/mopped. On the first day our white socks were filthy after walking around inside the unit.

  We had a nice stay despite the Red Tide plaguing the area that was out of everyone's control but the apartment itself needs some care. The beds and pillows are in woeful condition and need to be replaced. Huge dips in the middle. The lock on the door was also near impossible to open. It was difficult to get the keys in and out, and to turn the key. It always took several minutes to fiddle and get it open. The apartment is otherwise generally nice and the Island House itself is a fabulous property we've been going to for decades.
