The second we walked into the unit we were hit with a strong odor of mildew and possible mold. The unit smelled so bad we left the next day. Don’t book this unit unless it’s completely cleaned and checked for mold.

Great location and access to a beautiful beach. Nicely renovated. Pool & Beach were clean and lot of fun. Lots of fun for family. Grill on site was clean and easy to use. Office hours could be extended to allow more time for check-out/in. Fridge smelled like fish from prior guest. Serviceman was in kitchen when we returned from beach without notification. Staff receptive of this concern and apologized.

The location of the condo was great, and the views were beautiful. However, it was disappointing that the property was still under construction from the hurricane, and no discount or adjustment was offered to guests — even a small one would have been appreciated given the circumstances. The condo itself was not as clean as expected when we arrived, with piles of sand on the floors in some areas. The furniture, especially the couch, was very worn and in need of replacement. The pull-out bed was so dirty we couldn’t even use it. This unit could be amazing with better cleaning, maintenance, and a little more care for guest experience.

New windows and blinds and up to date furniture! You can tell the owners give their personal touch to their place. The view of the beach is beautiful.

Excellent stay in a roomy and comfortable condo. The condo met all our expectations and more! Excellent location, right on the beach with a nice pool. Location is very close to restaurants and shops. We had a car but walked to many places and could have taken the trolley. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are very happy that we chose this condo and the property, and we had a great time!

This was our second time staying at Island House Beach Resort and at this unit in particular. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and provided awesome views of the Gulf and the beach. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Ian. The property management company was great to work with, and we cannot wait to return - hopefully for a full trip next time!

This is a beautifully renovated condo with a fabulous view and location. Full kitchen with all the amenities. Beds are super comfortable. You will not want to leave. Washer and dryer shared with one other unit on your floor. Conveniently located near shopping and trolley stop that will take you to north siesta where there are lots of restaurants and shops. Very quaint town to walk around.

I looked at the reviews for this place before I booked it. Most of the reviews said it was clean. It was very well cleaned and maintained. The pictures were all accurate and it had a nice view of the beach. The place itself seemed to be updated and everything was great, no complaints!

Our unit was immaculate and well equipped. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on a small balcony off the kitchen. The views of the ocean and sunsets were amazing from the porch and living room. The pool and pool deck were well maintained.
For those with accessibility needs there was an elevator and a ramp to the beach. The unit also had walk in shower.

The condo was renovated recently by the condition of everything which was very nice and overall clean. Typical of a Siesta Key rental the floors are hard to get the sand off of so when you go barefoot you feel it even on the just cleaned floors. The TV needs a control to brighten the picture. Also the fan on the porch is always on as the cord is missing and there is no wall control.

The apartment was so nice. Loved the decor. Very tastefully decorated.. and the master bedroom king bed was extremely comfortable which is always a main concern.
A major fallback of the complex is that they provide no luggage carrier or way to get our belongings to the apartment which was on the third floor. This was a major problem for us. We are senior citizens and didn’t expect this obstacle. It will prevent us from staying here again.

When we first saw this condo online it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as PERFECT as it seemed in the photos. The fresh remodel was done impeccably with light, soothing colors and a comfortable, beachy vibe. (Whoever decorated this place must be a professional!) The condo was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend our mornings and evenings – whether watching the large tv in the living room or sitting on the screened porch listening to the waves. When it was time for bed I looked forward to it each and every night because the bed was heavenly! I’m a picky sleeper and this mattress and bedding gave me the restful night’s sleep that I needed.
We are regular travelers and we would rate this place as one of the nicest and cleanest accommodations with the best location. Right on the ocean, in a comfortable condo, with the amenities we needed to feel at home (washer/dryer, kitchen utensils and linens) and proximity to what we wanted (nice restaurants within walking distance, a pool on the property and a trolley stop right outside the clubhouse for easy transportation to downtown Siesta Key)—this rental was a TRUE VACATION!
We highly recommend this WONDERFUL apartment!
