  I've stayed at Island House for many years. It's on beautiful Crescent Beach and the resort has done a wonderful job relandscaping after the 2024 hurricanes. There are nice tables and chairs and a grilling area outside. This was the first time I stayed in 4N. Beds are somewhat soft but comfortable, bathrooms spacious but water pressure in the sink is low. Showers were nice. Kitchen sink and faucet-great. Refrigerator and microwave were very nice. Stove top was great; oven works but racks are hard to move with some rust issues on sides. But the DW had a terrible mold/mildew problem and bad odor. You notice the odor immediately on entering the unit. We had maintenance clean the DW filter, which was caked with black mold/mildew, and while they did a great job, the odor persisted despite running a couple cycles with a soap pod. We didn't use the dishwasher. You notice the odd smell entering the unit and in the kitchen, but not through the rest of the unit. The furniture is very nice. Couches were comfortable. The lanai has table and chairs. The chairs are in good condition, just not that comfortable. A high back chair would be more relaxing. Nice LVP flooring throughout. Good Shark vacuum to keep sand vacuumed up but the release cup to empty the canister was stuck. Dishes, glasses, sliverware were good as were selections of sauce pans. They need a new set of skillets and a good spatula. This unit is in one of the front buildings and directly on the beach, so the view is gorgeous. You can't see the sunset from the lanai, as the front unit blocks the sun location. But it's easy to go outside to view. I would definitely consider staying in this unit again if they get the DW thoroughly cleaned and the odor out of the apt. In Siesta Village, The Salty Dog has a great grouper sandwich/fries. In Venice, 30 min south, we enjoyed shopping and a delicious hamburger at T.J. Carney's bar. Van Wezel theater in Sarasota had Riverdance performing - excellent.

  We enjoyed the beautiful beach and delicious food offerings in the village. Siesta Key is a beautiful beach and a wonderful destination for enjoying the splendor of the ocean waves and long walks along the shore. Beautiful sunsets and the trolley into the village made it especially enjoyable. Keep in mind the area is recovering from a hurricane so we had to deal with construction noise above and scaffolding blocking our view of the gulf from our balcony lanai.

  4N was a beautiful condo and very well furnished. Great views
  Our issue was the way the front office handled our cable issue. We reported the first day we arrived that the living room TV did not work and there was no remote for it.
  Garbage disposal was also clogged.
  A maintenance person came Sunday but did not know how to fix it so he said he would return the next day with someone. They came could not complete the job so had to call the cable company which is what we told them needed to be done on Saturday as the cable box was dead
  Then talked to Cory who was not the most pleasant person because I told her I left 2 messages over The Weeknd. She told me she would handle it and not to call her again!!! Waited all day for her to call me finally late after said cable company would come Tuesday 8 am.
  It took them four hours and funallly got tv to work
  The cable continued to freeze during the rest to our stay. Cable guy said the living room tv never worked because it was never connected to the lines coming in the house. Call Cory back and she
  Continued to ask me if they were coming back
  To finish the job?? Shouldn’t she had a follow up with them. So the owners were paying a cable bill and never had cable.
  Ask for a review on the cable said she would check and when I called her she said she forgot and would call me back she then said no refund which makes no sensole as the handbook says no refund for disruptions in service but it was not a disruption of service there was NO service.
  Extremely rude person with no customer service skills
  Another odd thing is the outlets work thru the lignite switch
  We dealt with the TV issues for 4 days for long periods of time.
  Other than that we love the island, beach and all the local restaurants
  We will return.

  Spent 2 weeks at Island House in lovely Siesta Key. Been coming here most years for 20+ years. Island House is a perfect location right on the beach, near Siesta Key village and an easy drive to places like St. Armsnds and Venice. Island House was hurt badly in the 2024 hurricanes but is working hard to bring things back even better. Our unit was lovely, comfortable and had great views of the Gulf. Appreciated that both baths have walk in showers. Management was quick to get a few minor repairs made. Looking forward to 2 weeks in 4N again next year.

  We rented unit 4N for 8 nights. The unit was well appointed, clean, and modern. The view from the lanai was stunning. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the lanai as well as watching the sunset from the lanai.
  
  The beach is the best beach I have ever been on, and it is just steps from the unit we stayed in. The community pool is large and also very nice and never too busy.
  
  It's a nice walk to restaurants and ice cream to the south and a bit longer, but still nice walk to Siesta village to the north, where you will find many shops, restaurants and more ice cream!
  
  If you are looking for a nice quiet beach vacation, you really can't beat Island House.
  
  Siesta Key is still recovering from the back to back hurricanes (2024 Helene and Milton) so the property isn't currently perfect (Jan 2025), but it's still exceptional, and when the recovery is complete it will be perfect once again.
