We had a wonderful 3 days at Island House 3S despite some repairs that still need to be made to this unit.
Several of the lanai windows were still boarded up which prevented half of the lanai windows from being opened to get air. Also, not all of the shades worked on the lanai so the sun made it very hot in the afternoon preventing us from sitting out and enjoying the view in the late afternoon.
The bedroom windows did not fit tight and the wind whistled through them quite badly. Everything else in the unit was very nice and after all these window repairs are made this unit will be very nice.

Island House has a gorgeous view right on one of the best beaches in the world. The staff was very helpful, and the unit was pretty, comfortable, and well equipped. This year we experienced a special treat when there was a lunar eclipse right outside our window. The night sky is especially beautiful there. Island House is just a short walk up the beach from a fresh seafood restaurant and an ice cream shop!

We very much enjoyed staying here! The place was quiet and peaceful. Well decorated and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed the screened in porch. We always have a great time at the island house. We have stayed in several different units and they are always clean and well equipped. This time we stayed in 3 south and as always very clean and the view was perfect.The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the grounds are well maintained.

Couldn't have asked for a better property. Location, location, location. Unit had awesome views, was very clean, trolley stop steps away on main street, personnel more than accommodating, more that fully equipped kitchen (not that we used much) & I could go on for days. Granted some of the furnishings were worn but I wasn't at my house and I'm sure many people flow through her each year. If you want the latest in furniture stay home. The beach was the best I've been at in the US. Very clean and beautiful sand. A shell collectors dream. Not one to visit same place twice but will be back to the Island House Beach Resort.

The kids loved being able to walk right out to the beach and to watch the water from our lanai. The unit needs some updating...new mattresses are needed. The dishwasher did not work during our visit. We love the location but would probably opt for a more updated unit next time.

This is the first time in this unit, we usually stay in 5S. We really like the updated master bathroom and floors. The one thing that needs repair are the cabinets throughout the condo. They are peeling off the doors mainly on top of doors. Some places had tape to hold them in place. It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror attached to the wall in master bath. Other than that it was a great visit!
