  Hello we stayed in V10A. The unit was very cute and clean. The resort is in a great location. Everything was great except for the master bedroom mattress. I have never slept in something so uncomfortable. You sunk down like 5” where ever you laid. That mattress has seen better days. That is the only reason I would not book at Island house again. And I’m sure we are not the first to bring this to the resorts attention.

  Siesta Key is a beautiful place and if you are looking for an adequate place to stay this is it. This unit could use some updating, especially in the master bedroom and bathrooms.

  House was great and is in the best location possible. Walking to the beach takes minutes and is right across from the pool and clubhouse. Is on the main street so you miss nothing.

  We loved that this villa was right across the street from the pool and a short walking distance to the beach! Only complaints would be the lack of supplies provided at the villa, terrible shower head/no water pressure in guest bathroom, limited hot water, and squeaky beds. Furniture and TVs could definitely use an update. However, we would stay here again! (And plan to.)

  We were in 10A, which was as described. It had two good sized bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining area, 2 bathrooms and a screened porch. It is close to the main road, which means it's also very close to the office, laundry room and pool, but a bit more of a walk to the beach -- still not bad, though. We had a few maintenance issues but they were resolved reasonably soon. The condo itself is a bit old and worn, as is the furniture. The beach is spectacular, with chairs and some shade -- not very crowded considering we were there at high season. We avoided the "Village" after the first night because it had a party atmosphere, despite COVID, and we weren't comfortable -- too many people, too close together without masks. We had great Sushi at a Thai/Japanese restaurant in the Village the first night but I felt uncomfortable with the lack of safety measures so we didn't go back. We rode the trolley one morning just to see some of the island and that was fun. The pool was clean and very warm. My adult son with special needs and I enjoyed air hockey and ping pong in the rec room, which was open completely to the pool on one side, making it feel safer and more "open air." These safety topics will be irrelevant in the future, I hope. After all the fees, this place seemed pricey to me, but I think it's market-priced, meaning everything is high on Siesta Key because of the gorgeous beaches. You can certainly spend a lot more than we did. We spent several evenings watching the sunset from the beach -- a big tradition in Siesta Key -- well worth the time! We also used one of the two gas grills a couple of times, which were a short walk from our place and never crowded. Overall, the access to the beach, the availability of chairs, the pool, the comfort of the condo -- made this a good choice for a beach vacation.

  We had a great time at Island House. The unit was clean and well equipped. Could use a freshening up in the furniture etc. We saw some other villas while there and they were very nice. Next time we will choose one of those. The staff was great and helped us out tremendously. They make you feel like you are at home and that they really care. Scott and John were so helpful. Cannot wait to return to our home away from home.
