  We and a great time , have stayed here before in a condo and tried a Villa. Beautiful Gulf views from the living room and beautiful renovated Villa. A few small things and maintenance came and delt with them in a timely manner. We will definitely be staying here again. They're still recovering from the hurricane but the pool, beach and Villa are ready to go. So give them a try.

  Our second visit to Siesta Key and a repeat stay at Island House proved again to be a great decision. The island was hit with back to back hurricanes a couple of years ago but IH has come roaring back with full remodels on the villas. We extended our stay and were able to enjoy two newly appointed villas! It was apparent the owners of the villas and the staff have worked hard to regain the charming atmosphere of the resort. The provided lawn chairs at the beach are a huge plus along with the pool. IH is a great community with a very helpful staff.

  We have stayed in various Island House villas for the last eleven years. All of the staff is friendly and helpful, the villas are clean, the property is well cared for and the IH amenities meet our expectations! This is a great location to be right on Siesta Key beach! The only very minor complaint is that the sofa bed coverings (mattress covering and sheets) are lacking (for villa 11).
  The property description is accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities.
  We enjoy dinner at Captain Curt's and the Big Water Fish Market and shopping at the shops around those restaurants.
  We always enjoy our Island House vacations!

  Great rental in Siesta Key. Only negatives were- it was quite a nuisance to get the beach chairs moved down to the water. They don’t have anyone helping with this and the furniture in our Villa was outdated- the chairs need replaced. Otherwise we were extremely happy with everything else.

  The vertical blinds need to be replaced. They are all broken and have been that way for many years already. Cable wasn't working in the living room tv. Food got stuck on every frying pan I used (3 different ones). Furniture in the living room was dirty. The location of the unit is the best but it's time for some updates especially if the price of the rental is going up and additional $500 for next year.

The free trolley is also a way to get around. Our unit was comfortable and had most items needed.
