  Awesome villa. Perfect location to shops and night life as well as restaurants and bars. Had 5 villas with many 17 YO boys and families. Worked out great. Beach so close and used the grill and games too. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

  As always the stay at Island House was perfection! You all have done a great job of restoring the place to previous hurricane status. Love the upgraded pergolas and lighting around the grills. Coming in November it gets dark early and we were always grilling in the dark! Thank you! Villa 24 is our spot and already booked for next year. Can’t wait.
  
  A couple of things to note: our villa was lacking a hair dryer, which I noticed when signing the contract for 2026 says it will be included. Thankful my daughter brought hers and we shared. Also, not sure if the pool is a no smoking area but would recommend making it one and adding some no smoking signs if at all possible. I’m highly sensitive to the smoke and it’s tough to lay out and swim and smell it.

  Upon our arrival, we picked up our keys in the over night box. The gate key fob made the entrance easy. When we arrived inside our villa #24, the decor was beautiful and we could tell it had been newly renovated. Putting aside the beautiful decor, I will say that we couldn’t use the pillows in the main bedroom because it was like sleeping on an hard round log. The pillows didn’t even fit inside the pillow cases and were totally unusable. No extra pillows were available in the villa, so we had to use the living room throw pillows to sleep on. Unfortunately, none of the 3 televisions worked either. The one in the main bedroom hadn’t even been set up out of factory settings. The living room television had cable but was missing the HDMI cable. It wasn’t until the next morning that we were able to get the maintenance crew to come out. Took us almost 2 hours to resolve the issue and get it working. I will say that the staff was wonderful in resolving the issue. The cherry on top was the last night we were there. I was cooking in the kitchen and two large roaches crawled across the kitchen countertop. (Video provided). I have been coming to island house since I was a kid, and the curb appeal and constant construction on other villas just takes away from the beauty that this property used to have.

  Always look forward to coming to Island House and Siesta Key. Under new management now, but everything went smoothly. No issues. A little more expensive now, since we've been coming here for 12 years, but we'll keep trying to come. Overall nice to see our friends and family every year.

  The rental is pretty good. Of course the beach is spectacular., which we love. The porch area needs to cleaned, painted and fixed. Ceiling also needs to be repaired. Only three chairs on porch. Towel rack on porch rusted. Kitchen knives barely cut through anything. Instructions on how to use tv. Netflix, operation in general. Bedspread in master very very old. Faded and starting to wear thinn. Previously commented on these items.

  This is our 6th year staying at Island House Beach Resort, and our 5th year @ Villa 24. As previous years, we enjoyed a week of relaxation and fun. Villa and resort were clean and well maintained. Villa 24 has the perfect location, all amenities are close (beach, BBQ area, pool and gaming room) + resort is located close to restaurants and malls. Last but not least great customer service from the office staff, maintenance and security team. Looking forward for summer of 2024!

  I would however note that it is advertised as sleeping 6, but even though there are two trundles to pull out, there is literally not enough floor space in the room to pull both out! Also they should replace all the bedspreads with newer and cleaner options.
