  The villa was great overall and proximity to the beach was amazing. We have stayed in other places before on Siesta Key and by far this was the best in terms of location to the beach / space in the villa / etc. However, there were a few signs that the villa still needed repairs. If we used the microwave, garbage disposal, or some of the outlets (like for a hair dryer), the lights would dim or shut off completely. The bathroom shower didnt have proper drain cover. Some outlets didn't work at all and some lamps didn't turn on. The microwave also didnt work well and it was better just to use the stove. But other than these minor repairs needed, the villa was great.

  We had a great time. Great location. We played shuffleboard. Great access to the beach with beach chairs waiting.
  The villa was clean, but there were dead water bugs in closets and window seals. There wasn’t any linens for pull out couch, but the office was great on getting us some.

  We have stayed at island house many times and always loved our unit. This unit was beautiful but had many problems. Horrible faucets in showers without any water pressure, broken faucet in sink, and broken shelf and door in refrigerator. There were also little ants on kitchen counter that got into food and several palmetto bugs in the unit.

  Easy location on the key with a walkable distance to some restaurants on the south end. 5 minute walk to the quartz sand beach and ample chairs available. Unit was clean, wish there were beach towels or a cooler for use as we had to purchase these items and had to leave behind (limited as we flew). Shower head in master bath needs replacement but hall bath was good.Overhead in twin bedroom and a ceiling fan would be helpful. Kitchen fully stocked for meal prep with good appliances. Overall, very nice villa for a getaway.

  The only complaints I have about this villa is the showers and the bed. The king bed is a little stiff for my liking and the shower was hard to use due to it being broken. Other than that I can’t complain much. The location was awesome! Close to the pool and not far from the beach. The kitchen had a lot of stuff such as pans and stuff to use. We really enjoyed our stay!

  my husband and I had a real good stay at villa number 36 - we have stayed several times at the island house beach resort - and it is always clean and in good shape - the management and rental employees are helpful and we really like the location - it's very near the beach - and a good place to bike ride there also--- I would recommend it as a good choice when looking for a place to rent for a vacation get-away - we have stayed there in march and again in oct - of this year - and had fun ! they have a real nice clean pool there also- thanks for everything - we'll be back soon !
