Island House Beach Resort - This unit is a duplex unit and can be rented as 4 bedroom, 3 bath unit. There are private entrances. The downstairs unit is 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. fully equipped kitchen, 3 tv's, dvd, dining area, lanai, central heat/air. The upstairs unit is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, dining area, 3 tvs, dvd, central heat and air. Free Wi-Fi in both units. Island House is located on Crescent Beach, on Siesta Key. The villa is just minutes to the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The view is picturesque and the sunsets are magnificent. This attractive complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs, courtyard with shuffleboard. There is a large heated swimming pool as well as a recreation room with pool, ping pong, air hockey. There are many shops, restaurants, golfing, tennis, and other attractions nearby. Bush Gardens/Adventure Island is 1 hour away and Disney/Epcot is 2 1/2 hours away.   Great for a big group. There were 8 of us so we rented the upstairs condo and the downstairs one. We were able to go from on to the other from inside, this made it really nice. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but we didn’t mind. We liked that the beach chairs were conveniently on the beach and all we have to do is pull it to wherever we wanted to sit. This condo is located outside of the gated area, but it made it easy to be picked up and dropped off. We enjoyed our stay.

  We’ve been coming to Island House for years staying in Villa’s 10A & 10B and our family gathering has always been anticipated and this year was no different. Our stay was enjoyable. We brought our children decades ago and now their children are part of this vacation. A great family experience. Both villas do need to be updated though. The couches and kitchen furniture have seen better days. The mattresses also fit that same category. From a maintenance standpoint, the shower door in the master was broken, many of the blinds were not functional and light bulbs were either missing or needed replaced. The screen door to the lanial does not close/lock and the exterior door to the villas did not have the hardware to close. When both units are updated, it will enhance the vacation experience that brought us to Island House decades ago.

  Rental was GREAT! Just what we needed for a quick get away with our siblings/spouses (all adults) Rooms very clean supplies what we needed. Location-to beach- a short walk. Restaurants/shops- right on trolley line.
  Loved having beach chairs available on the sand SO convenient. Would definitely stay again!
